Important Tips Before You Sign A Bond:
· Don’t sign a bond for someone you don’t know or can’t easily locate on your own.
· Be careful of large bonds. If the person doesn’t show up for court, you’ll be responsible for paying the cash value of the bond, or forfeiting your property.
· Make sure you update the Clerk of Court with address changes and contact information so that you do not miss a court notice. You will still be held responsible; even you do not receive the notice.
